GMS Endurance is owned and operated by Gulf Marine Services and forms part of its 13-strong core jack-up fleet, which is active in the offshore renewables and oil & gas sectors. It was the first time GMS Endurance had docked at DSDu. Other Damen yards have also worked on GMS jack-ups, most notably Damen Shiprepair Amsterdam, which has welcomed GMS Endurance and GMS Endeavour on a number of occasions for projects that included the installation of a new helideck on the GMS Endeavour in 2015.

Jim Bradford, General Manager at GMS UK, said: “The high standards we have come to expect from Damen prevailed throughout the project and the ability of the yard to react efficiently to the emergent challenges within the work scope ensured the projected was completed safely and in time for our scheduled departure.
